The studio that builds the future of food retail.

Why do it with us?

We make sure you have all the tools and support you need.

We're a welcoming group of code crunching comrades.

We tap into the extensive capabilities of our Ahold Delhaize network.

What does this mean for you?

Your new role and environment.

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Salesforce Core Developer who is not only comfortable in the admin console, but truly excels in developing custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and integrations. You will be part of a dedicated development team responsible for the Salesforce landscape behind two leading Dutch retail brands: Gall & Gall and Etos.

In this role, you'll help drive innovation and scalability within our Salesforce Core setup, which includes Service Cloud and Order Management System (OMS). You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and other developers to translate business needs into smart, sustainable Salesforce solutions.

We’re looking for someone who combines hands-on coding skills with architectural thinking, and who is motivated to continuously optimize and extend the platform in line with evolving business needs.

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions, build scalable components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and SOQL, supporting Service Cloud and OMS functionality.
  • Design and implement system integrations, create and manage custom REST/SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and external systems to support business processes.
  • Work closely with admins to extend standard functionality using Flows, Process Builder, Custom Objects and Permission Sets.
  • Support and extend Salesforce OMS & Marketing Cloud, implement and enhance Order Management System (OMS) capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to design robust, enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions and ensure code quality.

What’s in it for you?

We ask a lot. (We’re looking for the best, after all). But we offer a lot, too.

So, what do we have in store for you? We offer flexible hours and a hybrid working model, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. We provide competitive benefits to support health, well-being and your professional growth. This includes: a significant budget on benefit platform and a yearly bonus. At AD01 we welcome everyone, just the way you are, and encourage individual growth with valuable opportunities and a worldwide across-brand network.

Requirements:

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (and ideally OMS)
  • Deep knowledge of Apex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), SOQL, and custom integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce admin configuration (flows, process builder, objects, permissions)
  • Experience in translating functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Skilled in working with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Git)
  • Agile mindset and strong team collaboration skills

Bonus:

  • Experience with Salesforce OMS or willingness to quickly ramp up
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or willingness to quickly ramp up

It goes without saying that so-called ‘soft skills’ are just as important as their ‘hard’ cousins. We highly value:

  • Experience working within a matrix-style structure with international teams
  • Provide hands-on, expert level technical assistance to developers
  • Be flexible, reliable and have a true hands-on mentality
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player; involves others, shares knowledge and seeks opportunities for cross functional working and collaboration
  • Creative; identifies solutions and selects the best combination of practices by taking an innovative approach to problem solving
  • Builds trust with colleagues, clients & vendors
  • Must be results oriented; demonstrates a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Adaptable to situations and different/multicultural environments
  • Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken
