As a SAP SuccessFactors System Configurator in the Recruitment & Onboarding domain, you will be joining our Tech department. Our Tech department is the driving force behind the technology in our organization. Powered by our innovative strategies, our Tech teams ensure we develop, maintain, and improve our career sites and recruitment & onboarding applications.

Key responsibilities of your role.

  1. Application Configuration and Development:
    • Write technical specifications & designs according to functional and non-functional requirement.
    • Configure solutions in the SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment & Onboarding 2.0 environments.
    • Configure in development, quality and production environments (SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment & Onboarding 2.0).
    • Report progress and issues to the Head of Tech and Scrum Master.
    • Perform quality checks on code/configuration and review recurring incidents.
    • Unit test your developments & our End-to-End applications.
    • Ensure all delivered products comply with information security, data privacy, license compliance, and audit compliance & control guidelines.
    • Coach and guide the other DevOps Engineers in the area of Recruitment & Onboarding.

 

  1. Application Design:
    • Design, maintain, and improve functionalities as part of application lifecycle management.
    • Translate business criteria and customer needs into technical designs in close collaboration with our Recruitment & Onboarding Product team.
    • Describe technical solutions for user stories or complex systems that meet customer needs and ensure good manageability of the system.
    • Translate user stories into specific tasks and plan actions based on the chosen technical solution.
    • Coach and guide the other DevOps Engineers in these areas.
    • Support the product team/Head of Tech during the design phase.

 

  1. Agile Process:
    • Resolve delivery impediments and manage team scrum processes.
    • Assist the Head of Tech in preparing product backlogs for sprints.

 

  1. Continuous Optimization and Improvement:
    • Define possible improvements.
    • Plan and execute improvement actions.
    • Perform checks after implementing improvements to verify if the objectives have been achieved.

 

  1. Executing Tests:
    • Ensure user stories are technically ready for testing during sprint planning.
    • Identify risks together with the scrum team and the customer.
    • Evaluate test scripts with the scrum team and prioritize the tests to be executed.
    • Unit test the technology/software of the product according to the designed test scripts.
    • Analyze test results compared to expected results.
    • Evaluate results with the scrum team and determine deviations.
    • Define actions for product adjustments and monitor implementation.
    • Retest the product.

 

  1. Operations:
    • Perform availability, performance, and capacity measurements to determine if the system still meets customer requirements and, if necessary, add improvements to the backlog.
    • Analyze incidents and user requests to determine if improvements are necessary and add them to the backlog.
    • Determine the cause of incidents, how they can be resolved through a workaround or a permanent solution, and create this solution, if necessary, based on a 24/7 on-call schedule.
    • Provide the support organization with knowledge, documentation, configuration, and support characteristics.
    • Document recurring incidents so they can be resolved by the Helpdesk.
    • Prepare and install software according to applicable agreements and then validate that the system functions successfully.
    • Maintain configurational data.

Requirements.

 

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Business Economics, or a comparable study
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience with SAP SuccessFactors (RMK/RCM/ONB).
  • Experience with configuring SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment & Onboarding 2.0
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
