What does this mean for you?

Your new role and environment.

As a DevOps Engineer within the BeCSE Network Engineering team, you will play a key role in modernizing and automating our network infrastructure across the region. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions, leveraging infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD practices to drive efficiency and reliability in both on-premises and cloud environments.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, cloud, and security teams, and represent BeCSE (Belgium, Greece, Romania, Serbia, and Czech Republic) in cross-functional groups such as the Architecture SIG and other engineering initiatives.

Our organization is undergoing a major infrastructure transformation aligned with a cloud-first and automation-driven strategy. You will contribute to the evolution of our network architecture to support agile, scalable, and secure services for the enterprise.

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Deliver and manage network infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) You’ll design, provision, and manage on-premises and cloud-based networking components using tools like Terraform and Ansible, ensuring scalable and secure deployment processes.
  • Automate network operations and deployments You’ll build automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, repeatable, and auditable network changes across environments.
  • Support the integration of network and security services You’ll collaborate with security and platform teams to integrate advanced technologies such as firewalls, ZTNA, and network monitoring into enterprise infrastructure.
  • Contribute to network modernization and cloud adoption You’ll support the migration from legacy infrastructure toward software-defined networking and cloud-native solutions, aligned with our cloud-first strategy.
  • Collaborate across teams in Agile environments You’ll engage with product and platform teams to understand requirements and deliver network services as part of Agile delivery cycles.

Technologies used in the department:

  • Cloud Networking: Microsoft Azure (VNet, Application Gateway, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute)
  • Automation & IaC: Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
  • Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash
  • Firewalls & Security: Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager), Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
  • Load Balancing & Traffic Management: F5 (LTM, GTM)
  • Software-Defined Networking: Cisco ACI

So, what do we have in store for you? We offer flexible hours and a hybrid working model, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. We provide competitive benefits to support health, well-being and your professional growth. This includes: a significant budget on benefit platform and a yearly bonus. At AD01 we welcome everyone, just the way you are, and encourage individual growth with valuable opportunities and a worldwide across-brand network.

  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Agile environments is a plus
