What does this mean for you?
Your new role and environment.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Owner to join our Agile, cross-functional team, which is responsible for delivering business value through the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. As the Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the prioritization of business requests, managing dependencies, and ensuring the team delivers on its PI (Program Increment) objectives. You will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for both business stakeholders and other teams within the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring alignment, clarity, and seamless collaboration.
This role requires an understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, its functionalities, and how the business leverages the platform to achieve its goals. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other Product Owners to ensure the successful delivery of roadmap objectives and high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities of your role.
1. Product Ownership & Roadmap Execution:
- Drive the prioritization of business requests and ensure alignment with the overall product roadmap and organizational goals.
- Act as the custodian of the team backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and up-to-date.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring that delivered features meet business needs and add value.
2. Program Increment (PI) Planning:
- Prepare and lead the team through PI planning events, ensuring objectives are clear and achievable.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define PI objectives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Ensure the team delivers on its PI commitments by providing clarity, removing roadblocks, and fostering collaboration.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for business stakeholders regarding Salesforce Marketing Cloud development scope, priorities, and progress.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, and strategic objectives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular updates on progress.
4. Dependency Management:
- Collaborate with approximately 15 other teams within the Agile Release Train (ART) to manage dependencies, align on scope, and ensure seamless integration of deliverables.
- Actively participate in ART syncs, Scrum of Scrums, and other SAFe ceremonies to address cross-team dependencies and risks.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead the Agile team in delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and empowered team environment, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
- Provide clarity to the team on business requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
6. Marketing Cloud Expertise:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities and how the business leverages the platform.
- Work with technical and business teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation using Marketing Cloud.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates, releases, and best practices.
What’s in it for you?
We ask a lot. (We’re looking for the best, after all). But we offer a lot, too.
So, what do we have in store for you? We offer flexible hours and a hybrid working model, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. We provide competitive benefits to support health, well-being and your professional growth. This includes: a significant budget on benefit platform and a yearly bonus. At AD01 we welcome everyone, just the way you are, and encourage individual growth with valuable opportunities and a worldwide across-brand network.
Requirements.
We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices, including backlog management, user story lifecycle, and prioritization.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.

Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant).
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) Certification.
It goes without saying that so-called ‘soft skills’ are just as important as their ‘hard’ cousins. We highly value:
- Very strong communication and senior stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage projects in global multicultural organizations.
- Results oriented: ability to simplify and decompose complex problems.
- Team player; involves others, shares knowledge and seeks opportunities for cross functional collaboration.
- Demonstrates flexibility; revises plans and decisions in the light of new information and changing circumstances
