As a SAP BW Application Specialist, you are responsible for taking customer requirements and helping them evolve through the agile development process with the sole goal of adding business value.

As SAP BW Application Specialist, you’ll be joining our Data Insights & Analytics department.

The Data Insights & Analytics team of Ahold Delhaize BeCSE (Belgium, Central & South East Europe) is responsible for the design, configuration and operation of a multi-country Data Platform running on Azure and SAP. This solution covers a broad range of date products, like Business Intelligence, Self-Service-Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, etc. These use cases are enabling strategic capabilities for many of our business domains, like Customer Experience (Loyalty, Personalization), E-Commerce, Marketing Campaigns, and Finance, Supply Chain, etc.

• Data Extraction from SAP & Non-SAP sources & delta handling
• BW Data Flow Modelling
• HANA Modelling & Optimization
• System monitoring, administration & Process Chains
• Performance optimization
• SAP BW Data Lifecycle Management
• Requirements & backlog definition
• Report & user experience design
• Data Model Design
• Extraction from Source systems
• Creation of Functional & Technical specifications
• System configuration
• Build, Test & Deploy phases.

Requirements.

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

• Strong in-depth experience in SAP Finance and Logistics data (SAP Tables, Views, BW Extractors, Function Modules, and standard reports)
• Good understanding on SAP Extraction and ODP framework
• Ability to understand ABAP code
• BW query design experience including complex key figures & user exit variables
• Experience developing reporting solutions in one of more of the SAP front-end tools including WEBI or Design Studio
• Project experience on Interfaces with both SAP and non-SAP systems
• Strong exposure in BW/4 as well as experience in classic BW
• SAP BW/4HANA Application Specialist certified is as a strong plus
• Having worked or experience in an Agile environment is a plus
• Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken
• Able to position the features and limitations of SAP BW
• Understanding of leading practices for configuring SAP BW
• Strong functional process knowledge and an ability to contextualize technology solutions to business users and articulate business value.
• Full understanding of the features and limitations of SAP’s wider Business Intelligence stack
