  • Translates Business needs into advanced capabilities and best practices based on best-in-class standard packages. 
  • Allow for localization and enhancements of the package justified by a business case enabling better business capabilities. 
  • Create corresponding functional requirements as an input to application design. 
  • Propose solutions, configure the system and write detailed functional specification of WRICEFs. 
  • Coordinate the execution of projects with the development teams located abroad in order to make sure the technical developments match the functional requirements of the systems and ensure quality is respected (Conduct functional Unit Tests and String Tests). 
  • Support Integration Tests and UAT. 
  • Deliver best-in-class, operable and sustainable Business Solutions with an optimal balance and integration between the different elements: Applications, Infrastructure, Data, Business Processes, Business Organization, and IT Organization. 
  • Deliver Multi-Format, Multi-Channel, Multi-Country, Multi-Business Model solutions. 
  • Support the Change Management team (Communication, Organization transformation, providing the application training content for end users, ...). 
  • Provide day to day functional support, application administration & troubleshooting (L3) for all European Operating Companies in scope, in the context of the overall Operational Support Organization in place, in liaison with the vendor support organization. 
  • Partner with peers when integrating functionalities across applications and/or modules. 
  • Build and maintain internal (managers mainly) and external relationships with regard to the own domain of expertise in order to have an optimal cooperation with all relevant stakeholders, as well as a contribution to desired strategy of the department. 
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements to provide additional Business capabilities with a clear Business Case in collaboration with the vendor. 
  • Regularly question “ways of working” and existing work processes and investigate alternatives to work on application systems in order to contribute to and support continuous improvement efforts and the client / user experience of the developments. 
  • Works self-directed and independently; act as subject matter mentor to more junior members. 
  • Lead and supervise the work assigned to the team’s internal and external resources. 
  • Follow applicable Standards, Procedures, Guidelines and Methodologies in the implementation and/or maintenance of the SAP Retail platform. 
  • Support the definition and development of the regional roadmap, leveraging the knowledge and insights of the legacy processes and data architectures. 
  • Monitor & analyze technology trends in own area which could provide a benefit & improve capability for the business and support Strategy or Regional Roadmap.

  • Mandatory prior experience with a minimum of 5 years experience and knowledge in implementing SAP from design to GO-Live stage.
  • Excellent working knowledge of SAP business processes associated with vendors, invoice matching, corrections, approval, etc. 
  • Expert knowledge of the functional SAP areas is essential:

 

  1. Specific SAP Modules expertise: 
  • OpenText Vendor invoice management for SAP
    • Material management 
    • SAP FI/CO (in connection to integration with AP processes) 

 

        2. SAP Support environment: 

  • Release management. 
  • Transports and authorization concept   

 

  • Customer-focused; possesses client relationship management skills. Intensive contacts with the business to ensure deep business understanding/business consulting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
