As a Digital Product Analytics Engineer you will design and implement tagging, ensure data quality, and act as the subject matter expert for digital data collection for our European brands. You will ensure a reliable, scalable, and high-quality data foundation for digital product analytics. You will own the technical implementation of tracking across web and mobile, using Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and app SDKs. Last, you will partner with product, analytics, and engineering teams to translate tracking needs into robust datasets that enable faster, smarter decisions across all digital experiences. The role should also focus on data quality and consistency to privacy-compliance. 

 

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Translate product and business needs into clear tracking specifications and solution design documents 
  • Architect data layer schemas, event naming conventions, and taxonomies across platforms (Web, Android, iOS, etc.) 
  • Collaborate with developers (FE web, FE app, FE kiosk, backend) to implement and QA tracking logic 
  • Proactively audit existing tracking and identify broken, missing, or outdated tags 
  • Act as the owner of tagging governance, resolving conflicts or ambiguities in event definitions 
  • Implement and maintain tags in analytics solutions using Adobe Launch (rules, data elements, extensions) 
  • Manage triggers, variables, and custom scripts to ensure efficient and scalable implementations. 
  • Configure and validate Adobe Analytics tracking (props, eVars, events, dimensions, processing rules). 
  • Build scalable tag configurations that follow modular, reusable patterns 
  • Configure tags for analytics (e.g. GA4), marketing & advertising pixels (e.g. Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Criteo), and other third-party tools as required  
  • Partner with Android/iOS engineers to implement SDK-based event tracking in native apps.  
  • Support build-time configurations, event schemas, variables, and debugging using 
  • Specify app event structures, parameters and user properties, and verify correct firing in test and production environments.  
  • Support deep-link and campaign tracking for app acquisition and engagement. 
  • Work embedded in agile product squads as the instrumentation owner. 
  • Participate in grooming, design reviews, and deployment discussions to ensure analytics requirements are built correctly. 
  • Provide guidance to engineers on data layer implementation, SDK integration, and event standards.  
  • Maintain accurate documentation: instrumentation specs, data layer rules, tracking conventions, and governance. 
  • Contribute to creating tracking templates and reusable specs for all EU brands. 
  • Champion product analytics best practices within product & engineering teams. 
  • Implement monitoring techniques to detect data gaps, regressions, and inconsistencies early. 
  • Develop and execute QA test plans for new and updated tagging 
  • Use debugging tools (Adobe debugger, dev tools, proxy tools) to validate event firing and parameter accuracy.

Requirements.

 

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

  • Owns tagging, data layers pipelines and architecture for an entire product domain 
  • Works independently across product squads 
  • Practical expertise with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch. 
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, DOM, network debugging). 
  • Experience working with mobile app SDKs (Adobe, Firebase, Appsflyer, etc.). 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical implementation documentation (APIs, SDK guides, app event schemas). 
  • 4–7 years relevant experience, Bachelor/Master
