The Senior Customer Insights Analyst – EU Customer & Digital Platform team is responsible for transforming web and app behavioral data into actionable customer insights that drive value for Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe. Leveraging deep expertise in Adobe Analytics, including data layer concepts and administration, the role ensures that tracking is reliable, interprets customer journeys across markets, and translates findings into clear recommendations for Product, Marketing, and Commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of your role.

  • Analyze customer journeys, funnels, and engagement across web and app using Adobe Analytics.
  • Build recurring dashboards and insight packs connecting behavior to KPIs (conversion, MAU, retention).
  • Perform segmentation and cohort analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Build compelling narratives and visualization for senior stakeholders.
  • Present in multi-country forums and facilitate interpretation workshops.
  • Track how benefits are achieved and how they evolve over the life cycle of programs and projects
  • Maintain standardized workspaces and dashboards across EU KPIs.
  • Build reusable templates for Product, Marketing, CRM, UX.
  • Monitor user adoption and improve based on feedback.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities with product teams.
  • Support A/B test design, KPI definition, and post-test evaluation.
  • Quantify impact of new features and campaigns.
  • Validate tracking using Adobe tools, debugger, and data layer validation.
  • Identify tracking issues and log them clearly for technical teams.
  • Review mapping between data layer objects and Adobe Analytics variables.
  • Collaborate with tagging and admin teams to maintain configuration.
  • Share best practices, frameworks, and internal playbooks.
  • Coach junior analysts and business users.
  • Contribute to standards for tracking design and QA.

Requirements.

 

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

  • Performs complex, strategic, multi-country insight generation and advisory.
  • Advanced mastery of Adobe Analytics, data quality assurance, and insight modelling.
  • Capable of influencing behaviour of senior stakeholders, including Directors/VPs.
  • Leads integration of insights across brands, digital teams, and product domains.
  • Shapes EU-level KPI frameworks, measurement strategies, and experimentation programs.
  • Can guide tagging/data teams on solution design and tracking governance.
  • Provides functional leadership/mentorship to other Analysts.
  • Partners with senior product, marketing, and commercial teams to guide strategy.
  • Bachelor / Master required.
  • 7–10+ years experience in digital analytics, customer insights, and cross-market advisory.
