QA Automation (mobile focus)

Your new role and environment.

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our Checkout & Receipts team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the meticulous testing of our checkout processes on app, web and backend. 

The Checkout & Receipts team is responsible for the checkout process on web and app (iOs and Android). On all platform we serve our customers by providing a seamless checkout process, offering them to use multiple payments methods. We continue to improve customer experience and are looking for a Medior QA Automation Engineer to continue to improve our app automation and work on our daily based (manual) testing tasks.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and coverage of our app testing.

Key responsibilities of your role.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test plans and scripts for the Checkout & Receipts team.
• Keep the Type Script based test automation up to date and functioning.
• Contribute to the existing web test automation in Playwright.
• Perform front end and backend tests to ensure the integrity and functionality of the Checkout flow.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements and define test strategies.
• Analyze test results and report findings to continuously improve product quality.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Maintain documentation regarding test procedures and results.

Requirements.

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with mobile application testing
• 3+ years of experience with automated testing of mobile applications, preferably Appium.
• Experience with BrowserStack 
• Experience with backend testing, using Postman, Swagger and automating these tests.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice to have requirements:

• Experience with automated testing of web applications with Playwright. 
• Experience in customer checkout processes.
• Experience in payments domain development teams.
• Experience with event messaging systems (Kafka).
